Castlevania Dreams Up Some Screens for Reverie

I actually looked up the definition of reverie before writing this. It means to enter a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts. Well…that doesn’t really seem to fit the horrific monsters and vampiric demons found in the Castlevania series, but whatever. We have some new screenshots to look at for the first DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, entitled Reverie.

Review: A World of Keflings (XBLA)

For months I’ve been hyped for A World of Keflings, and today is the day where everybody can experience bliss for only 800 Microsoft Points. That’s right. This game is pure, enjoyable bliss. I suppose I could end my review right there, but I would be doing the game, and NinjaBee, a great disservice, so tighten those seat-belts kiddos because we’re going on a ride.

Review: A Kingdom for Keflings (XBLA)

A World of Keflings comes out in two days, so I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’m reviewing A Kingdom for Keflings, a game that has been out on XBLA for a little over two years. Well, the answer is rather simple. We don’t have a review for A Kingdom for Keflings on the site (shocking, I know), and it seriously deserves some love.

Quake Arena Arcade Coming to XBLA in 2 Days

I love Quake. My favorite Quake of all time was Quake III: Revolution for the PS2. It was fun, it was violent, and I loved everything about it. Hearing that Bethesda is bringing Quake Arena Arcade to XBLA is like being a kid and hearing that Santa is getting ready to come down your chimney and deliver presents.

Review: Dream Chronicles (XBLA)

A few months ago I reviewed Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air for PC. When I found out last week that the original Dream Chronicles was coming to XBLA, I was all over it. After spending many hours going through single player and local co-op with Chris, I can honestly say that the game had some high points, and some equally frustrating moments.

Review: Plants vs. Zombies (XBLA)

For months I’ve been hearing people on Twitter and other social networking sites singing the praises of Plants vs. Zombies by PopCap Games. As a person who isn’t too into the tower defense genre, I avoided it like the plague. Up until a week and a half ago, I was convinced that PvZ was another one of those games trying to cash in on the zombie craze that’s been going on right now. If it wasn’t for the delightful demo that’s currently available on Xbox Live, I’d probably still think people were insane. While the demo is great for giving people a feel on what the full game is about, it doesn’t do it justice.

Review: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

I remember playing Tomb Raider when I was younger.  Specifically, I played to ogle the beautiful Lara Croft’s buttocks and breasteses as she fought her way through enemies and puzzles (in my defense, I was a teenage boy without a social life at the time).  Oh, and I suppose the gameplay was nice, though as I’ve mentioned, it was far from my main interest in the game.  Over time, as I became less socially awkward, I drifted away from the Tomb Raider series.  Until, that is, we received a review code for the Summer of Arcade title, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
