Our dog is a total spaz. One of our visiting friends was petting him gently, when suddenly the yelping started. I thought we were past this, but I guess once a spaz, always a spaz.
Way to spaz out, spazzy mcspazzerson.
-Because I said so

Last week we got a note on our door that the maintenance guys would be coming in our apartment for some routine stuff – changing air filters, checking smoke alarms, etc. Basic shit.
Well, they never came.
As our cute kitten Moogle is growing, she is getting more and more curious. One of her recent fascinations is the bathroom sink since she can easily access it.
Her first experience with the sink wasn’t a good one seeing that it was meant to get her wet as a punishment for doing something really bad, I can’t remember exactly what now, so at first she was really apprehensive.
One thing we’ve noticed about Moogle is how curious she is. She wonders what is inside a cabinet, wonders what is so awesome about the fridge, and other things. She has also taken a great interest in our laptop and PC. She watches how the mouse cursor flits about the screen, and will stare at our fingers as they click on the keyboard.
Almost all of you who read this blog know about our dog Donnie. For those of you who don’t, last year Chris and I adopted a dog who was already named Donnie. At the time he was 4, was owner released, and is a Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Luckily Donnie took on more of the Terrier traits and personality than the shakey Chihuahua.
If you read the blog that was posted a few days ago, you would know that we have recently added to our family with our new kitten, Moogle.
She is a very cute cat. Very playful, she “speaks” to us when we wake up in the mornings and when we come home after being out, and she purrs so loud!
For awhile now, Chris and I have been talking about getting a cat. We both grew up having cats and dogs as pets, so having a kitten around would be great.
We were sitting here watching TV with the sliding glass door slightly open so that I could listen to the rain (it was coming down very heavily), when suddenly we see a bright flash of lightning, followed by a loud blast of thunder. Suddenly, a shaking Donnie jumped up on us like a child looking for safety from the big loud scary noises.
For the past week or so, Donnie has been scratching under his right arm straight in the arm pit itself. I’ve checked to see if he was injured there, if there is a bug bite, and if there is anything to warrant his persisent scratching yet I have found nothing.
I got a call from my dad yesterday. He lives in Oklahoma City, where I was born and raised. When I was a kid, we got a pet cat that I creatively named Kitty. I must have been in third grade, at the oldest. She was a beautiful calico cat. She turned 21 years old this year, and he called to say that she died last Monday. I remember thinking when I was a kid of how I would react to this very news. I imagined that I would be very destructive, throwing vases around, etc, but it was nothing like that. I was just very sad, and I still am. Kitty was my first pet, and was a part of my life for almost 20 years. I miss you, Kitty.
