New Screens Show Why Apache: Air Assault Soars

Its almost time to get to de choppah, so Gaijin Entertainment is giving us a few screens to hold us over.

Gaijin Entertainment has proven that it can make good flight games. They previously brought us the excellent IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey. Now, instead of planes, they’re bringing us action of the helicopter variety. On November 9th they’re releasing Apache: Air Assault on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. With 16 stages of attack helicopter action and an aim to be as realistic as possible, even using real world satellite photography, Apache is looking to follow in its older brother’s tradition of excellence. Look below for a fresh batch of screen shots to get a look at how this flight sim is shaping up.

About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
