Needless to say, we’re pretty excited about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 around here. The slow but steady reveal process of playable characters is definitely serving its purpose of getting me even more excited about a game that I can’t have until next year, and luckily, their odd selection of characters is turning into something really interesting. Two new characters have been announced; one is a fan favorite, and one is a bit more obscure.
The fan favorite is Viewtiful Joe, an odd character introduced on the GameCube back in 2003. The obscure is Dormammu, a Dr. Strange villain who is one of the most powerful mystical beings in the Marvel universe. Character art and gameplay screenshots have been released:
