If you’ve gotten tired of all your old Lord of the Rings games fear not! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced an all new co-op title: The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest. Prepare to see more of your favorite characters as they travel and fight all new battles.
The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest focuses on Aragorn and his adventures from the trilogy. This time, Gandalf is here to tag along, help out with fighting and give you all the magic you could ever want from an old man. Players get to choose to play as either in one player mode or you and a friend can team up to take on all the enemies from Middle-Earth together in co-op mode.
The action-packed game play will have you fighting with swords, shields, bows, and spears while on foot or horseback all while traveling across a new rendition of Middle-Earth. Players will also get to learn more about Gandalf by finding out about his past and some of his secrets.
The game will be available on Playstation 3, Playstation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii. It will utilize Playstation’s new Move controls.The game will hit stores October 2010.
