Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Earlier this month I talked about the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Collector’s Edition.  Lindsey and I both played Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on PS2 way back in 2008, and while we both enjoyed it, we both thought it was too short, among other small complaints.  Overall, however, it was a great Star Wars game.  With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, many of those complaints (hopefully length, as well) have been addressed, including targeting, Force Grip, and more.

In addition to these changes, and the developers taking greater advantage of the very powerful game engine, some new features have been included, such as new force powers Mind Trick and Force Fury, the ability to dual-wield lightsabers (a personal favorite of mine from games like Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy), new combos, and more.  With an October 26, 2010 release date (the day before my birthday), we won’t have to wait too long to try this one out.

About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
