Sandwiches

Sandwiches

I love sandwiches.  They’re easy to eat, they taste phenomenal (if done right), they look cool, and they taste phenomenal (if done right).  What brings up the topic of sandwiches, you might ask?  Well, I’m eating one right now, and I felt like gloating about it.

I have a huge, delicious deli sandwich on a plate next to me.  I’m taking quick breaks between sentences to savor and consume my behemoth sandwich.  This particular sandwich is on a bakery loaf from our local supermarket, Vons.  It’s about four inches wide, three inches tall, and five inches long.  The bread is soft in the middle with a nice crunchy crust.  In between this lovely bread is green leaf lettuce, cheddar and swiss cheeses, Virginia ham, smoked turkey, roast beef, tomatoes, and a mayonnaise/mustard mixture.

It’s delightful.

Don’t you feel like having a bite?

WELL YOU CAN’T!  HAHAHAHAHA!

I bought a 12″ one earlier from a place called Sub Station lol. I love an Italian Hoagie and Tommorow I might go to a place called Jersey Mikes (which the owner is from the Philly area) and get an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, not that slop meat with peppers and onions on it that they serve everywhere outside of Philly lol.

About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
